At Spec Design, it is our mission to tell stories and present information in a clear, visually pleasing manner that grabs readers’ attentions. We do this through our two divisions: Graphics and Illustrations. As a staff graphic designer, you will gain real world transferrable skills by making complicated information accessible through data visualizations, infographics, and other visual representations. As a staff illustrator, you will work with our Arts and Entertainment and Opinion sections, as well as our online magazine the Eye, to make creative, innovative illustrations that convey and compliment the tone and themes of the columns and stories produced through those sections, as well as provide standalone illustrations pieces.
